As part of a troubleshooting process on a PowerEdge R430 (WS2012 R2), I want to rollback (or uninstall) the OS Collector 2.1.
I want to go back to v1.1 instead of the present v2.1.
These are the steps I have tried so far:
1. Executed "Diagnostics_Application_PWMC8_WN64_OSC_1.1_A00.EXE" from the OS which ended with: "Installation Success"
(As a result of Dell version confusion, the system treats 2.1 as an OLDER version than 1.1, but that's another story...)
2. Going to the Lifecycle Controller > Reset & Re-Purpose > Reset Diagnostics, OS Drivers and LC Controller settings/logs.
Diag, OS Drivers and LC controller logs wiped, but none of these two attempts manage to get rid of OS Collector 2.1.
Some ideas anyone?
