my server was running find it a dell poweredge 2950 i have two raid that running thats all but the main raid with the server 2008 install with all the data everything , now it wont boot to the window need help i dont know what to do at list if i could access it and retrieved my data that would be good but the other raid controller drive said ready the main one with the os said sas failed

PowerEdge M620 - QLogic BCM57810 broken after firmware update
Hi
I tried to update my PE M620 blade using official DELL iso image from dell.app.box.com/.../32719678641. After update I reboot blade according guide from iso. Blade hasn't powered up normally after reboot (stuck in bootloop). On CMC I saw messages about bus error. After virtual and physical reseat of server, it powered up normally, but i don't see QLogic BCM57810 devices in BIOS configure menu and ethernet devices in DELL LiveCD. I think that firmware of Ethernet adapters was broken during update. How i can repair firmware of these adapters? lspci tool is showing me NICs when I load Dell Live CD image, but bnx2x kernel module can't be loaded, because firmware is broken.

R620 network update failes

I have tryed via iDrac server, Lifecycle controller and it just failes with the remark "Update failed" PR19 or PR21, and ind the Lifecycle controller SUP517.
Anyone got any thing i can try ... ?

The RAID 5 lose two of the 3 hard drive and we are in the process of replace them, but we need the CD/DVD with the Windows Server 2008 to install and possible the other missing CD/DVD's.

R910 - on boot fans gradually increase to maximum - very slow performance
I purchased a used R910 (no warranty) with the intent of building a VMWare host to work on some credential programs.
It has the X16 backplane. I got it with one CPU, no HDD, and 32GB RAM. It would go through the POST process, and I was able to enter the H700 RAID BIOS without issue, but at the end of POST any other course of action (like System Setup (F2) or System Services (F10)) would fail immediately after POST with a CPU error.
I purchased 2 SLC3Q E7-4830 CPU's & U884K Heatsinks, and installed them with some Arctic thermal compound.
Now when it boots, it POSTs without errors... however. The fans start out on the lowest speed, and immediately following the Dell Logo screen at the beginning of the POST gradually increase one step at a time until they are at max RPM (6,000+). I can get into BIOS setup and configure things without issue. I can get into System Services, but everything is very very laggy, and attempts at firmware updates fail.
I am quite familiar with some of the smaller Dell servers (1850's through R430s), but this beast is a new animal to me.
Hope it is not a bad motherboard, but can anyone recommend some steps to determine the issue?

R620 CPU Temps
I have an R620 with 2x E5-2670 and the temps are 70c and 60c at idle with CPU utilization at 1%. Running Windows Server 2016 Essentials. Everything looks good in the enterprise iDrac7. No warnings or messages. All the fans work and are pushing 4000+/- rpms each. The heat syncs are correct with new thermal paste. I just bought the two CPUs from esiso. I find it hard to beleive that they would sell me damanged CPUs. Any ideas guys?

R730 VSAN HCL QLOGIC 57810 Cant find FW version 12.13?
Hi guys.
The VMware hardware compatibility list has recommended that we use FW version 7.13 for our NICs for our R730s. The card shows up as QLogic 57800 10 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter.
The trouble is, i cant seem to see any firmware higher than 7.12.19
The driver on the Dell ESXi 6.0 U3 image is 2.713.10.v60.4
At this rate I will have to downgrade the driver to 2.712.10.v55.4 manually so we can be under a supported configuration.
Anyone else ran into similar issues with getting their Dell servers to match the VMware compatibility list?

We have iDRAC 8. I access via web interface.
Lately I got weekly at the week end warning messages like the following

Recommended Action: Contact the iDRAC administrator and make sure the username and password credentials used are correct. Check the Lifecycle Controller Log (LC Log) to see if more unauthorized iDRAC access attempts are occurring than would be expected due to forgotten account names or passwords.

I only have one admin user which still works. What is behind this ?
Is it maybe a bot net assault ? How can I protect my server.

I thougt I buy one dimm of 8GB and replace all the other dimms

3 drives in predicted failure as per Dell OMSA
Hello,
Dell OpenManage Server Administrator is reporting 3 drives in predicted failure in regards to one of our clients RAID's. We had one of our engineers on-site one month ago and he reported the drives health as normal then. I have checked the logs and saw nothing that would indicate anything going wrong with the drives.
Basically, I would like to verify as to whether Dell OMSA is reporting these details correctly or not, because we do not want to have the client purchase new drives if not needed.

Add USB3.0 card to T430
I added a card to add more USB3 ports to my T430 and it appears to cause random system crashes and reboots. It is a powered card from inateck: 7-Port USB 3.0 PCI-E Card KTU3FR-5O2U
Are there any "approved" USB3.0 cards for the t430?

Quad Core CPU upgrade in a PowerEdge 6950??
We're trying to upgrade our PowerEdge 6950 with 4x AMD Opteron 8387 CPUs, but I can't get it to boot. I've tried one, two, and four CPUs. They're all matched, and we've made sure the RAM is good.
Any ideas? BIOS is up to date.

DELL SERVER T420 SLOWNESS AND MANY ISSUES

We are using Dell T420 for which we have replace the Mother Board due to DRAC issue and faced a problem of rebooting suddenly then reinstalled the OS of win 2008R2 standard and then reinstalled all the application we use for our Process that is SQL 2012 for our process ,After the next day of installation i again faced the Problem of rebooting and found the error in the log that "A PCI system error was detected on a component at bus 0 device 31 function 0."and A critical Shutdown below the error After restarting the system I found the System is *** slow and the LAN is not pinging till i disable and enable operation
So I have many problem related to the Server Please help me out for each one
PCI Error ,LAN port access ,System Slowness can any one please help me out on this

DRAC5 firmware 1.65 and below are vulnerable to multiple attacks including BEAST and POODLE. Please provide a new firmware version with a web server that:
• disables SSLv3 and TLS 1.0
• enables TLS 1.2
• disables RC4
• No longer uses common DH primes
More details can be see by putting your hostname into the SSL Labs test tool at https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/.
Further, update the remote console so it works with Java 1.8 without the jdk.certpath.disabledAlgorithms and jdk.tls.disabledAlgorithms workarounds.
I understand that this is old hardware. Considering the number and severity of the problems, I ask that you reconsider and ship a new upgrade.

Dell T620 server right side cover is stuck - how do I get it off?
The right side cover became latched without the bottom being inside the server. Now when you press to release the side, nothing happens. The side swings open from the bottom and not latched there at all. If I have to force it off that's fine, just need to know where to push on this thing.
